Both the NUT and the NAHT voted by large majorities to stop the KS2 SATs. Headteacher  and Leadership Group members will refuse to administer the tests. Ordinary classroom teachers have never been under any obligation to administer the SATs, and if asked should  inform the Union office. Members will receive detailed information about the boycott from the national union in the near future.                  

Leaflets to parents explaining why we are taking this action are also to be produced.
